Member Rob Vidovic and President Simon Cole will soon apply for a Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant to advance the activities of our organisation.

BrisLETS member BLCE4134 Rob, a neuro-skeletal therapist who assists people with back problems, said: “These grants are made to benefit incorporated community and not-for-profit organisations like ours at BrisLETS.” Judith Shaw reports that we received grants twice in the past… “once for a gazebo and again for a computer in September 2000 from the Gaming Fund in the amount of $5365.”

The grant application will detail much-needed equipment such as a data projector, a marquee, banners and even events such as last year’s successful BrisLETS Expo at Enoggera Bowls Club, which featured trading, food and drinks, even a drumming workshop and a flurry of new member applications.

President Simon Cole said that a grant may even cover a storage shed and a drop-off point cupboard.
