This month’s theme is Recycled Garden Inspiration, and there couldn’t be a more fitting place than Trudi’s beautiful garden in Arana Hills.
If you’ve never visited before, you’re in for a treat. Trudi has created a wonderful garden full of plants, recycled treasures and creative ideas that show just how much beauty can come from giving everyday things a second life. It’s the perfect spot for an afternoon of trading, sharing and connecting.
Trudi’s garden is full of wonderful examples of giving everyday items a second life, and we’d love you to bring a bit of that spirit along.
If you have plants, cuttings, seedlings, seeds, pots, garden produce, garden books, or creative recycled garden ideas, we’d love you to bring them along to trade, share or simply inspire others.
As always, the theme is optional – all trades and offers are welcome.
What to bring
- Something to trade, swap or share
- A plate of food for yourself, with enough to share if you’d like
- Your reusable cup or water bottle if you wish
- A friend or neighbour who’s curious about BrisLETS
Carpooling is encouraged where possible.
What happens at a Trading Day?
Our monthly Trading Days are where the online Community Exchange System comes to life.
Bring along goods you’ve made, grown or no longer need, offer your skills, meet other members and discover new opportunities to exchange.
Whether you come home with plants, books, homemade goodies, useful household items, or simply some new connections, there’s always something to discover.
Our Trading Days are easygoing and friendly, open to everyone, whether you’re an old hand or just curious to see how BrisLETS works.
