July’s trading day was a wonderful success at Jessica’s place in Morayfield. It was a beautiful day in a gorgeous spot, with an ambience that included friendly animals and the warmth of a fire. Members enjoyed a delicious lunch of soup around the fire, along with lots of other yummy food and valued trading that rounded out the event.
Nothing happens by chance though, and Jessica planned out the jobs, members brought the appropriate gloves and secateurs and had planned out car pooling etc beforehand.
Jessica expressed her heartfelt gratitude, noting that weeks of small light job work were accomplished in just a short period of time. Members loved meeting each other, being outside in a wonderful space, and having experiences they truly enjoyed. It was a win-win situation, showcasing the power of community and collaboration.
