Then you can try to help connect them with any traders you know who can supply their Want. Also describe some of your best LETS purchases.
You can help by suggesting that they:
- Post lots of Wants on CES
- Browse the Offerings on CES
- Come to the next Trading Day (tell them the date/venue)
- Use Facebook to promote their Wants and watch for Offerings
- If there is a supplier who sells what they want for $, they can try to recruit them to join BrisLETS and promise to be their first customer.
- Consider hosting a working bee.
Seller: Thanks for your trade. May I ask how you will earn back the units? What are you offering? Do you need help finding buyers?
Then you can try to help connect them with any traders you know might be interested in their Offering, as well as talking about other opportunities to earn LETS units.
You can help by suggesting that they:
- Post lots of Offerings on CES
- Browse the Wants on CES
- Come to the next Trading Day (tell them the date/venue)
- Use Facebook to promote their Offerings and watch for Wants
- If they sell goods or services for $, e.g. on Gumtree, suggest they also use the ‘Units Accepted’ badge as there may be a customer they can recruit to BrisLETS.
