Our June BrisLETS Trading Day was held in the vibrant, nourishing surrounds of Dianne’s garden in Manly West—and what a beautiful day it was! From the moment we arrived, her space welcomed us with open arms. The lush greenery, the thoughtful layout, and the genuine warmth of our host set the tone for a truly memorable gathering. It felt like we had been on holiday.

Dianne was a wealth of knowledge, generously sharing insights about the herbs growing in her garden. Many of us were gifted cuttings to take home—each one a little piece of wisdom and possibility to plant, grow, and use in our own kitchens and lives. Her lime cordial and homemade jams, made from her homegrown produce, were a sensory delight—tangy, sweet, and full of the love that comes from working with the earth.

We’re also incredibly grateful to Danielle for sharing not just her bounty but her deep knowledge. These kinds of exchanges—of stories, tips, and know-how—are the heart of what makes our community so rich.

It was wonderful to see Adrian up and mobile again—your resilience is inspiring! And a warm welcome back to Pam—we’ve missed you, and it was so lovely to reconnect.

Thank you to everyone who came, shared, traded, and connected. Days like this remind us of the strength and sweetness in community, and the beauty of exchanging not just goods but generosity, stories, and wisdom.

See you at the next one!
