Our April Trading Day, held on Saturday, April 13th, at the peaceful Mitchelton Library, was a perfect mix of heart, trade, and connection.

It was wonderful to see long-time members reconnecting and mingling with newer faces, sharing stories, exchanging goods, and passing on the wisdom of local trading. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, with tables set up for easy chats and swaps. This is what BrisLETS is all about—community, collaboration, and meaningful exchange.

There were some fascinating trades, including handcrafted items, homegrown produce, and one particularly intriguing native tree tea that sparked conversation and curiosity. Members also brought delicious plates to share for afternoon tea, making the event feel more like a neighbourhood picnic than a formal meetup.

The Mitchelton Library venue proved to be a calm and inviting space, with easy access by train and plenty of nearby parking for those driving in.
