Our October Trading Day at Holland Park Library was buzzing with energy, connection, and the spirit of resilience!
Angie made the trip down from Toowoomba and shared a wonderful catch-up with long-time members. She also brought along the Caboolture LETS archives, helping us reminiscing with the rich history of our region’s exchange networks. Jessie will be looking into finding a library home for the combined Logan, Brisbane, and Caboolture LETS records, so this important community history can be preserved and celebrated.
It was fantastic to see familiar faces return — including members who haven’t been able to attend for a while due to work. The variety of trades on offer was inspiring, and there was a real sense of community spirit in the room.Jeni has launched an new venture in time for Christmas.
Moments like these remind us that resilience isn’t just about what we store or build — it’s about how we show up for each other.
