Our November Trading Day at Trudy’s place in Arana Hills was something special — one of those gatherings that stays with you.

From the moment we arrived, it was a full sensory experience.
The colours, the smells, the way recycled treasures were blended with art, plants, and story… it all came together in that effortlessly “Trudy” way that makes you stop, take a breath, and just enjoy being there.

We were greeted first by the line of toilets marching cheerfully up the driveway — each one overflowing with different plants, colours, and textures. Only at BrisLETS do you get that kind of quirky, joyful creativity. It set the tone straight away: fun, laughter, and a lot of heart.

Inside the garden and the home, every corner held something interesting — foliage, objects with history, pieces arranged with intention and playfulness. And right when we were all settling in, the bird Trudy is caring for graced us with a beautiful song. It felt like a blessing on the day.

The setup was wonderful, the trading was lively, and the conversations flowed easily. People shared stories, old memories resurfaced, and new ones were made. There was a genuine sense of connection — the kind you can’t manufacture.

We all came away feeling recharged, uplifted, and reminded that the effort to get there is always worth it.
Thank you, Trudy, for hosting with such warmth and creativity. 🌿💚
