More Than a Swap
BrisLETS is Brisbane’s Community Exchange (BLCE), part of the global Community Exchange System (CES).
Members trade skills, services, knowledge, produce and useful items using community credits called LETS Units, so you can get what you need without always spending money.
Every trade builds stronger relationships, keeps skills local and helps create a more resilient community.

How BrisLETS Works
BrisLETS has been connecting neighbours for over 38 years.
- Offer something you can do or share.
- Earn Units helping others.
- Spend Units on what members offer.
- Meet local people at Trading Days.
Joining is simple.
One-off joining fee: $20
Pay the joining fee and complete the CES registration form. The management committee then reviews your application.
Once approved, you’ll receive an email with your membership number and login details.
New members also receive 20 Units to help them start trading. These are added manually after approval, so they may not appear in your account straight away.
New members are welcome to visit a Trading Day first.
