Vision Workshop and shared Lunch @ 12pm – Where: Albion Peace Hall

We are creating how BrisLETS functions, reacts, feels, creates, it’s values and mission through the Visioning Workshop starting at 12noon sharp.

This is the first part to collect information and ideas. The trading day in October, will collate all the information, to inform any changes to the constitution of BrisLETS Community Exchange and

Terms and Conditions of the BLCE CES, use of words describing functions, management support role, rewards etc.

Trading is the life blood of LETS, and if it’s not working for you, you won’t use it. So come along to make sure it does work for you!

Lillian Geddes is running the workshop, bringing many years of experience and passion for this work. She is asking members to pay her in units what you feel she has contributed to members

to develop the BrisLETS vision.

Being part of a community feels good with sharing a meal – please bring food you can eat and share – finger food on a dish to pass around the table, so we can work and eat. Just make a

normal dish of firm food, and cut it up so people can take a small portion and pass it on. It always works out well, so just bring what you think you would like to have.

Please bring drinks if you need other than cows milk, sugar, tea and coffee. Please bring everything to the table at 12 noon so we can move straight into the workshop.

We will break after 30 minutes, for 10 minutes, then another session, break and the final session. Lillian will ask for devices to be turned off.

We need to focus on the workshop so please leave the other gear in the car and you will have time to set up the trading at 1.45pm. We will be trading from 2-4pm.

It is a great chance to get to know other members in the exchange, hear what is important to them and what pressures are stopping them trading and how we can help activate trading.

BrisLETS is more than just trading, it is about building community.

Visitors are welcome to attend. New members are especially welcome! See you there!

Please bring a gold coin donation to cover the cost of the hall hire, which costs $50 per trading day.
