Yesterday I popped in to The Edge to see the Brisbane Tool Library‘s new home.

The Edge is part of the State Library of Queensland and on the ground floor was under-utilised storage space, which BTL moved into.

BTL has generously offered to host BrisLETS to have events there. There is a large undercover space outside (not accessible by vehicle, unfortunately).

Alongside it is a large hackerspace area with many machines; tools, 3D printers, sewing machines, laptops and ALL freely available for any keen tinkerer to use!
